What we need to specify an industrial panel

Five inputs are enough to return a panel, an interface and a driver recommendation with the reflectance and power figures behind them.

Enclosure

Cut-out dimensions, depth available behind the bezel and the cover lens you intend to use.

Viewing

Distance, angle and whether the operator wears polarised eye protection.

Ambient

Lowest and highest light level, and whether night operation needs a backlight.

Power

Supply rail, budget for the display and the duty cycle of the frame.

Interface

Existing controller, available interface and the frame rate you need.
