Module specification
Panel, interface and driver recommendation returned with the reflectance and power figures behind it.
Most display problems are decided on the enclosure drawing. A backlight that will not survive the enclosure. An aperture that forces a bezel change. A controller that cannot drive the panel at the frame rate you need. Each is cheap to fix in a review and expensive to fix in tooling.
So our engineering support runs front-loaded. You send the requirement, we return a specified module with the figures behind it, and we review the optical stack against your build before tooling is committed.
Panel, interface and driver recommendation returned with the reflectance and power figures behind it.
Cover lens, bonding method and anti-glare treatment checked against your ambient range and viewing geometry.
A mechanical and optical review against your drawing before you release tooling.
From enclosure drawing, ambient range, power budget and interface to a named module.
Material, coating and bonding assessed against the light the product actually sees.
Interface options and timing worked against the controller already on your board.
Reflectance, contrast and environmental results at conditions you specify.
Custom diagonal, aperture and stack developed from your drawing through first article.
Scope varies with programme volume. Ask what is included for your expected quantities.
Send the enclosure drawing and the power budget. An application engineer answers with a specified module and the reasoning behind it.
Catalog modules and finished displays, quoted and shipped by us. Best when the specification is settled.
Local stock, local invoicing and local support in the regions listed below.
Engineered-to-order panels bought as part of a development programme with a scheduled release.
Direct sales with distributor stock for catalog modules. Samples ship from regional inventory.
Direct sales with distributor stock. CE documentation issued against the purchasing entity.
Direct sales and engineering support, with local language technical review on request.
Direct sales, with programme support for engineered-to-order development.
Direct sales with freight quoted per order. Tell us the destination and we will confirm terms.
Coverage is confirmed per region when we quote.
Tell us the quantity, the destination and whether the panel is catalog or engineered to order. We point you at the right channel.
Most of what we do is specification work with somebody else’s constraints: an enclosure that cannot change, a power budget that is already spent, an ambient range nobody controls. The satisfying part is that the answers are measurable — you either recovered the contrast or you did not.
The uncomfortable part is that we publish conditions with figures, so the work is checkable. If that sounds like a feature rather than a risk, we will probably get along.
Thirty minutes on what you have built and what you want to build next. No take-home before that.
A technical session on a problem from our actual backlog, discussed rather than graded.
Time with the people you would work beside, including whoever would review your work.
We hire in small numbers and only post a role once it is genuinely open. Speculative applications are read and answered. Tell us what you have built and what you would want to own next.
Send what you have worked on and what you would want to own. We keep speculative applications on file and answer them.
